THE MIKEY O SHOW
CHICAGO's HOME FOR LATINO COMEDY SINCE 2003
ABOUT THE MIKEY O SHOW
Founded by Mike Oquendo, The Mikey O Show celebrates 23 years as a premier Latino comedy production company, staging shows in Chicago and nationwide. In 2019, Mike concluded the year with an unprecedented 109 shows, including a 32-night sold-out Off-Broadway run featuring comedian Eli Castro. Post-pandemic, Mike made a strong comeback at Joe's on Weed St, which has been the Mikey O Show's home for over 21 years. Joe's has hosted comedians such as Alex Ortiz, Patti Vasquez, Joey Villagomez, TJ Miller, Jorge "Cooch" Marroquin, Hannibal Buress, Ken Flores, Michael Palascak, Kumail Nanjiani, Felipe Esparza, Gwen La Roka, Abi Sanchez, Shayla Rivera, and many more.
Mike’s commitment to community shines through with his initiative, Comedians for Communities, which has raised thousands of dollars for not-for-profit organizations across the Chicagoland area.
